Oral and Craniofacial Sciences DDS/PhD Program
Program Description
Offered under the auspices of the Graduate Program in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences, the DDS/PhD program in oral and craniofacial sciences provides training and experience in research.
The DDS/PhD program aims to train future academic scientists with a solid understanding of clinical dentistry and oral health. Students receive intensive training in biomedical sciences and comprehensive dental education, allowing them to identify clinically relevant questions and pursue independent, high-quality research in oral and craniofacial science. This integrated training supports careers dedicated to advancing knowledge in cell, developmental, and molecular biology; biochemistry; biomaterials; biophysics; and the physical sciences, all directly related to oral and craniofacial health and disease.
Due to our program's funding sources, we are currently accepting applications only from individuals who are U.S. citizens or hold a green card.
