Office of the Ombuds
Summary Description
Established in 2011 to promote a supportive learning and working environment at UCSF, the Office of the Ombuds is a resource for all members of the UCSF community (faculty, staff, administrators, students, post-docs and trainees) that provides a confidential, impartial, informal and independent place to talk about UCSF-related concerns. The Office of the Ombuds can help identify and evaluate options, provide information, facilitate conversations between conflicting parties through mediation services, and make referrals when appropriate. Our services begin with a confidential one-on-one consultation with an ombuds. These appointments are typically scheduled for 60-90 minutes and can be on Zoom, phone, or in person.
